Adam Bien
Adam Bien is a self-employed consultant, lecturer, software architect, developer, and author in the Enterprise Java sector in Germany. He works as an architect and software developer who handles IT projects implementing Java technology in a large scale. Recently he is honored and awarded as Founding Java Champion.
Adam has well practical knowledge of Java and JEE. He has participated in many Java and Java EE projects successfully. He has been working with Java SE and EE since the beginning (JDK 1.0, Java Web Server).

He is also a good one author who has written several books on Java and J2EE technology, and reference articles on distributed Java programming. These books include “J2EE Patterns", "J2EE HotSpots", "Enterprise Java Frameworks", "Struts", "Enterprise Architekturen" and "Java EE 5 Architectures” in German language.

Adam Bien is BEA Technical Director and Expert Group member of the Java Community Process (JCP) and is also involved in embedded Java and P2P technology. Currently he is involving as architect and developer in several J2EE/MDA (Model Driven Architecture), and EAI component architectures projects for Java EE and .NET. He is also managing some projects for books in Europe.
