David Flanagan
David Flanagan is one of the Java champions of java world. He is a good one author in most of the creative authors who has the specialization in Java and JavaScript. He spends most of his time to write about JavaScript and Java. David is also a computer programmer who has implemented many software using Java and JavaScript.
David has completed his degree in computer science and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Now he is living with his wife and children in the U.S. Pacific Northwest. This city is between the cities of Washington and Vancouver, British Columbia.

Being an author, he has written so many books, which includes one of the famous books named O'Reilly including Java in a Nutshell, Java Examples in a Nutshell, Java Foundation Classes in a Nutshell, etc., and regarding to JavaScript: The Definitive Guide and JavaScript Pocket Reference etc.

Currently he manages the OpenJDK and JDK7 projects and their processes that have been mentioned as possible contenders for Java 7, and major new APIs that have been tracked for addition in the new version of Aug. 9, 2007.
